During the first days of June, Castelbuono is decorated for the infiorata (flower festival).

Prepared in the historic centre of the town, the infiorata is an annual event which consists on creating drawings only by using natural elements (petals, leaves or ground). These drawings usually represent saints, cartoons, and more, depending on the edition. 

The period of this venture ends on Sunday with the parade of the historical procession and the mastery of flag-throwers. During this last day, you can also see the master pastry chefs from Castelbuono making floreal creations on spot only by using sugar and chocolate.
